Сегодня задается много вопросов, как могло произойти, что армия ДНР превратилась из разрозненных полупартизанских отрядов в мощную военную организацию, способную не только противостоять, но и побеждать украинскую армию на поле боя.
В Киеве и на Западе повторяют о российском вторжении, чтобы как-то объяснить массовые поражения украинских войск в ходе так называемого АТО. Мы никогда ни от кого не скрывали, что среди сил ополчения много россиян, без помощи которых нам было бы гораздо сложнее сражаться. Думаю, за все военное время их было около 3-4 тысяч. Некоторые уже ушли, многие еще здесь. Есть и погибшие ребята. Не секрет, что из добровольцев России много бывших кадровых военных, решивших встать на защиту ДНР от украинских нацистов. Более того, к нам прибывает много военных из России, которые предпочитают провести свои отпуска не на морских пляжах, а в одном строю со своими братьями, сражающимися за свободу Донбасса.
Знаете, я думаю, что только у россиян такое острое восприятие чужого горя и несправедливости, в какой бы точки мира оно не происходило. Потому русские добровольцы всегда приходили на помощь первыми и не жалели своей жизни за свободу и независимость других народов. Так было в Испании, так было в Сербии, и так происходит сегодня здесь, на нашей земле, тем более, мы с ними одной крови.

Alexander Zaharchenko. Russian volunteers always come first to rescue.

Today, lot of questions are asked, about how could it happen, that the army of DPR (Donetsk people republic) became from guerilla squads to a powerful military organization, which can not only resist, but defeat Ukrainian army in the battlefield.

In Kiev and in the West keep repeating about Russian invasion, to explain mass defeats of Ukrainian army during so called ATO (Anti terrorist operation). We never concealed, that among self defense forces, there are a lot of Russians, without their help it would be much harder for us to fight. I think, that during all the time of war there were among 3-4 thousands of them. Some of them have left already, a lot are still here. Some are dead. That is not a secret, that among Russian volunteers there are a lot of ex career military, that decided to stand for DPR against Ukrainian Nazis. More than that, lot of military from Russia come to us, they prefer to spent their vacation not on the sea sore, but to stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers, that fight for freedom of Donbass.

You know, I think that only Russians have such acute perception of other people’s grief and injustice, wherever in the world such things happen. That is why, Russian volunteers always come first to rescue and didn’t regret to sacrifice their lives for freedom and independence of other peoples. That was in Spain, that was in Serbia, and that is what happen here today, on our land, furthermore we are of the same blood.
