Хочу поздравить белорусский и российский народы со знаменательной датой, ставшей ярким символом подлинно братской дружбы, – Днем единения народов Беларуси и России.
Для жителей Донецкой Народной Республики этот день также является праздником, основанном на общности наших народов, богатом духовном и культурном наследии.
Символично, что сегодняшний праздник отмечается в канун исторической даты – 70-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. В то судьбоносное время наши общие предки в жестоких сражениях отстояли свободу своей Родины, освободили мир от угрозы фашизма, подарили будущее многим поколениям наших народов. И сегодня мы прилагаем все усилия, чтобы сохранить и передать нашим потомкам память о беспримерном подвиге поколения наших отцов и дедов, поколения Победителей.
День единения – это яркий символ того, что только вместе мы представляем непобедимую силу, способную противостоять любым угрозам и достойно отвечать на все вызовы. В эти непростые для Республики дни наши жители отчетливо понимают, насколько опасно разобщение наших народов и насколько важным и ценным является наше единство.
Сегодня сама жизнь показывает, что единение – это единственный путь сохранения богатых традиций наших славянских народов, преодоления трудностей, достижения благополучия всех жителей нашего общего дома.
От всей души желаю нашей большой семье братских славянских народов процветания, успешной реализации самых смелых проектов и мирного неба над головой!

Dear friends!
I would like to congratulate the Belarusian and Russian people on the remarkable date which became a bright symbol of originally brotherly friendship – Day of a unification of the people of Belarus and Russia.
For inhabitants of the Donetsk People’s Republic this day is also a holiday, based on a community of our people, rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
It is symbolical that today’s holiday is celebrated on the eve of historical date – the 70 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In that important time our common ancestors in cruel battles defended freedom of their Homeland, liberated the world from threat of fascism, presented the future to many generations of our people. And today we make all efforts to keep and transfer to our descendants memory of an unprecedented feat of generation of our fathers and grandfathers, generations of Winners.
Day of a unification is a bright symbol of that only together we represent the invincible force capable to resist to any threats and adequately to answer all calls. These days, difficult for the Republic, our inhabitants understand clearly, dissociation of our people both how important and valuable is how dangerous our unity is.
Today life shows that the unification is the only way of preservation of rich traditions of our Slavic people, overcoming of difficulties, achievements of wellbeing of all inhabitants of our general house.
Heartily I wish to our big family of the fraternal Slavic peoples of prosperity, successful implementation of the most courageous projects and the peace sky over the head!
